Sports Radio 910 The Fan's host, Wes McElroy, has teamed up with The Flying Squirrels to help with the COVID-19 Relief Fund!

On Thursday, April 16th from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. listeners who donate a minimum of $11 (in honor of the Squirrels' 11th Opening Day) will be qualified for the Grand prize: Become a Flying Squirrels player for a day!

Every donation during the 4 hour period will qualify for the prize, but there will also be prizes you can win hourly with your $11 donation!

500 Bases of Love

Richmond Flying Squirrels' VP & COO Todd "Parney" Parnell will walk the bases at The Diamond on Thursday, April 16 to help raise help raise funds for Richmond-area organizations assisting with COVID-19 relief efforts.

Beginning at 6:35 a.m. on the day that was originally scheduled to be the Flying Squirrels' home opener, Parney will begin walking the basepaths at The Diamond. The event will be streamed live on the Flying Squirrels' YouTube page.

Participants can sponsor a base for $25 or sponsor an entire lap for $100. Anyone who donates will get a personal shout-out from Parney during the event!
